Chełmno (Kulmhof) extermination camp established during World War II by Nazi Germany on the territory of occupied Poland in the town of Chełmno near Łódź, for the purpose of killing Jews of the Łódź Ghetto and the local inhabitants of Warthegau (Reichsgau Wartheland).
